My barbie closet

June 5, 2016

We moved into our first house last December/January. The house was built in 1905 so it has a lot of character (I love the historical feel).

We decided to turn the small room next to the master bedroom into a walk-in closet. With the help of my mother and a contractor (& a few others), we were able to create my *barbie* dream closet! My mother is a professional organizer (that’s where I get my neatness from) so she really helped put everything together.

The closet and master bedroom are definitely the most modern out of any of the other rooms in the house. Since the closet is so big, I don’t use the bathroom to get ready. The vanity in the closet is strategically placed by the windows so I get a lot of natural lightening when doing my make-up.

The contractor knocked down the wall between the two rooms to create an open floor plan
