Old Bahama Bay

July 7, 2016

I just got back from a few days in the Bahamas. We [my bf + 4 friends – 2 other couples] stayed at Old Bahama Bay Resort & Marina (“OBB”) in West End, Bahamas. The resort is absolutely beautiful.

Most people come to OBB to fish and dive. The resort has a huge marina where you can rent slips for your boat while you stay at the resort. OBB is only 58 miles from Florida, so we rode our boat over from West Palm Beach to the Bahamas. It was such a cool experience traveling on a private boat from America to another country.

The resort consisted of multiple, brightly colored buildings which consist of 6 separate rooms (3 upstairs and 3 downstairs rooms).

The rooms had large kitchens [sorry! not the best picture of ours]

The resort also had a large pool in the middle of the townhouses. There are 2 restaurants at OBB. We ate breakfast every morning at the causal outdoor restaurant (& bar) which is on the beach!
