My Travel Diary: The Breakers Weekend

September 8, 2017

Hi everyone! I have not been blogging lately because I went out of the country and just have been pretty busy lately with wedding planning, etc.

I wanted to do a post about my trip to The Breakers last month which is located in Palm Beach, Florida. It is about a four hour drive from my house in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The resort is absolutely gorgeous! It was such a nice getaway with my fiancé! They upgraded our room from partial ocean view to full ocean view. We really didn’t leave the resort the whole time because they pretty much have everything at the resort property (and we were only there for a weekend).

We spent Saturday early afternoon at the pool! The frozen skinny margaritas were delish!

We got to The Breakers late Friday night. After we checked in, we went up to our room to get ready to go out. We ended up at HMF (inside the resort) which is a bar/ restaurant. We ordered appetizers and a bottle of wine. HMF had a DJ playing music while we ate and drank.  The next morning we woke up and headed to brunch. Brunch was absolutely delicious. I am not  a breakfast person and I thought the brunch was soooo good. There was so much to choose from. We decided to skip lunch since we ate a lot at brunch. Tommy and I spent the afternoon at the pool. There are multiple outdoor pools, including an adult only pool. Later, we met one of my good friends from law school and her sister, at the Seafood bar for drinks and appetizers. After that, we headed to dinner at the Flagler Steakhouse. Everywhere we ate was  delicious…calories don’t count on vacation 🙂

The next morning we relaxed until check-out. We drove around the Island and explored some before heading back home. In conclusion, we loved our weekend get away to The Breakers! I am hoping to return soon!
