I get a lot of messages on Instagram about what pregnancy apps I use so I figured I would do a blog post about it. I have six pregnancy apps because ever since I found out I was pregnant I’ve wanted to read all the information that is available to me! Each app is slightly different although they do overlap with a lot of the same information. All of the apps give weekly in-depth updates about the size of your baby and what is developmentally going on that week.
1.The Bump
I like The Bump app because it is user-friendly and somewhat minimalistic (there are not 1000 to click on as soon as you open the app). The app also shows drawings of your body and your baby in 3D week by week which is pretty neat.
2. Nuture
Nuture is more in depth, they give you updates each day about your pregnancy or about what is going on developmentally with your baby. On Nuture, there is a daily log where you can input information about taking vitamins, sleep duration, drinking water, updating weight, exercising, recording moods, recording spotting, etc.
3. Ovia Pregnancy
Ovia is neat because it shows you the approximate size of your baby’s foot and hand each week. Ovia also gives daily tidbits of information – usually only a sentence long. I like how concise it is!
4. Pregnancy+
This app is similar to the others. They have a timeline which shows baby’s development, things to-do, and tests your doctor will likely perform.
5. What to Expect
Another app I downloaded after the others to read more information. This one is pretty cluttered with articles and some ads. I like the weekly updates about my pregnancy though.
6. Babycenter
Babycenter has many of the same features that the other apps have. Babycenter has a lot of discussion boards where other pregnant women or postpartum women answer and/or ask questions.
