I get sooo many questions about shopping on Shein’s website. I’ve been ordering from there for probably about two years now. People ask me all the time whether or not the site is legitimate. It is legit! 90% of the clothing that I’ve ordered from Shein ends up fitting. The 10% that doesn’t work out because it is too big, too small, fits odd, etc. I end up giving to my sisters or will donate it. Since the clothing is so inexpensive, I don’t want to take the time to return it and pay for return shipping. Also, this post is not sponsored in any way. These are 100% my views and I tell people this about Shein all the time.
I like to order from Shein because sometimes I want trendy items but don’t want to spend a lot on things that won’t stay in style for very long. I don’t mind spending more on things that are closet staples! Shein is inexpensive and they have a huge selection online. I also prefer shopping online versus shopping in store!
How long does it take to get your order?
Shipping has gotten a lot quicker. It used to take 2-3 weeks. Now sometimes I get my order in a week or less. Usual shipping time is 1-2 weeks.
How does sizing work?
I think the dresses and shirts run true to size. I wear a small from Shein clothes and wear a small normally. I haven’t ordered many pairs of pants from Shein but I just ordered these flare jeans that I love! They fit true to size – I am wearing a small. The swimsuit sizing is a little different – I think it runs small. As of last year, I haven’t found any swimsuits that I love on Shein. The fit just isn’t right. They may be better now though!
Any tips for shopping on Shein?
Read the reviews and look at photos that people have uploaded under reviews! Sometimes you have to take chances on some items. Also, they almost always have discount codes on the home page so apply the codes to your order when you check out.
